A/C relay caused the AC unit to burst resulting in the gas leaking out in the garage. At first I thought it would catch my house on fire due to the combustion. The nite before I had taken out the battery to keep it warm in the house since I did not have another car to give me a jump. When I placed the battery back in the car the A/C unit pressure valve blew out. Took it to the dealer, they said the A/C relay was stuck on in which caused the valve to blow. Not realizing that this was the cause of my battery failure for the last several years.

Purchase the car in Sept 09, by Jan 2010, need a jump due to a battery drain. Over the next several months within that year 2010, I had three jumps. From 2010 to present 2014 I have Acura replace three (3) batteries at their expense since the battery was under warranty. Most recently, I traveled for three weeks. Within the second week, my wife said the car won't start. After I return, I went to Acura and purchased the A/C relay, the updated one for $27.00. There are posts on Acura forums explaining this issue and to purchase the new relay, not the original one it came with. To date I am over 200,345 miles. Also the HFL is known to drain the battery.
