Takata recall - I have been waiting on Acura to provide replacement part since February 12, 2016. When I check online or call Acura all I get is the part is not available. I live in Florida with the high temp and humidity. I don't understand how a part cannot be made available for 6 months.

Takata recall since being initally notified by Acura of Honda March 2016, I have had no communication nor repair by Honda, despite several calls to the dealer. Dealer simply repeats that he has not received the required parts from Honda/Acura to repair this defect, despite Acura's own description of the problem as being potentially dangerous, with possible injury or even death resulting. The initial notification noted that parts would be available summer of 2016, but as we near the end of July, absolutely nothing from Honda/Acura, though long past the 60 days described as a 'reasonable time period' for the repair.

Takata recall - Acura has known about the faulty airbag inflators since at least February of this year. It is now July and parts are still not available for my vehicle. An Acura dealer has told me that Acura corporate has not sent the parts to the dealers, meanwhile Honda has been actively replacing airbag inflators on their vehicles.
