RDX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

I bought my 2014 Acura RDX on November 4, 2018 The rear noise in the rear of the vehicle started soon after I purchased the vehicle. I called the Acura dealership was told there were no complaints that they were aware of. But I found that this vehicle has known complaints with the rear shocks and bushings. So now I will have to replace rear shocks on a car I just purchased. I feel there should be a recall on these. Hoping this will be addressed.

The car is OK, maybe comparable to the new RAV4, perhaps too expensive for what it is.

THE FIRST DAY I PICKED UP MY CAR I DROVE IT TO ATLANTIC CITY WITH MY FRIENDS. THE CLUNK FROM THE REAR WHEN YOU HIT POT HOLES WAS EMBARRESSING . EVERYBODY SAID TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER, AFTER I DROPPED IT OFF THEY SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG. I DROVE IT WITH THE SERVICE WRITER AND HE SAID HE THINKS HE KNOWS THE PROBLEM. I DIDNT HAVE TIME TO BRING IT BACK TO THE DEALER FOR A WHILE BUT WHEN I DID THEY STILL SAY EVERTHING IS NORMAL.
