This is a common problems with the Acura RSX Type S 6 Speed i was amazed that it hasn't been reported because most of the cars of this type and 6 speed manual have this problem. 3rd gear syncro fails. This was covered in a Acura Bulletin but was never a recall when it is a known manufacturer Defect. Acura Service Bulletin 08-018 Dated July 18, 2008 Transmission Grinds when shifting into 3rd Gear, Pops Out of 3rd Gear, or Is Hard to Shift into 3rd Gear. From what i've read in other complaints and my car. It starts hardly noticable and gets worse and worse. More significant when coming from redline off of second gear.
