We bought this car as an Acura CPO along with the big AcuraCare warranty in July of 2006. Its a beautiful car without even the smallest hit of neglect or abuse, and we paid a premium for the ASPEC package (big mistake.) We took the car on a 1700 mile road trip out of state the weekend after having bought the car, and noticed a crack starting from the lower portion of the windshield after we had already left town and driving through the night. By the time we reached our destination, the crack had already grown beyond repairable stage, and by the time we reached home a few days later, it had grown all the way to the side in front of the driver. The dealership refused to do anything about it, help out, etc even though the original owner/driver was one of their salesmen who told me that he had the same problem before, and had replaced the front glass. We took the car to a SAFELITE auto glass location to have it replaced (another huge mistake.) The technicians did a sloppy job of replacing the glass, using the fenders, hood, and roof as a place to lay their tools, getting that damn sealant all over the place and scratching the otherwise perfect pearl black/blue paint, denting the fender, etc. It cost the insurance company about $2700 and they subrugated the cost back to SAFELITE.

Then again a few months later, we had to replace the glass AGAIN. Same sort of thing, couldn't believe it.

Finally, we've had to fix the fourth windshield with the chip-tech guy, hoping not to go through the hell of having collateral damage of crappy sloppy "technicians." This started out a $40k+ car and had otherwise unnecessary body repairs thanks to Honda/Acura's windshields being such crap. I've had vehicles with over 150k miles and the original windshields, I'm not sure why Honda can't figure it out.
