paint cracking

The paint on the entire car looks like the picture. The same thing happened to my CSX and ACURA of Canada paid for the paint job to fix the problem and called it a "Warranty Extension" When the paint on my TL started to crack I contacted the Acura Customer Service. They told me I had to get an estimate on the cost of repair, I did and they told me that my TL was out of Warranty and they would not fix it. When I asked why they repaired my CSX which was also Out of Warranty they said the TL was "more out of warranty"...hmmm is that like almost pregnant...LOL?

Needless to say, this will most likely be my last Acura. I like to deal with companies that are consistent, not ones that can't make up their minds!!! That's why companies like McDonalds and In-n-Out Burger are so successful, they remain constant.

Update from May 13, 2017: This problem is also found on Hondas as well as they use the same paint Acura.

The paint is cracking all over the car. I had the damage checked at three body shops. The price for fixing the problem varies from $3000 to $10000. With the cheaper alternative I was also advised to sell the car soon after the paint job. I was told that my extended warranty does not cover paint issues. I am pissed because I wanted to trade the car and now I am going to take a hit on the trade.
