I have serious vibration issue on my car, Acura TLX 2017 2.4L i4 + DCT, tech package.
(same engine with Honda CR-V 2015 and 2016)
Irritating vibration arises under next conditions:
1. At idle, when the engine RPM drops to around 600 RPM (stop at a signal, etc.)
2. In Drive mode (in P or N mode, it goes back to around 700 RPM)
I visited two different Acura dealers, and both said the vibration was perfectly normal for Acura.
For comparison, the vibration level on my car is a lot worse than that of a 10-year old Lexus,
and it is ridiculous to 'see' the vibrating passenger-side seat whenever I stop at a signal.
Everyone will perceive vibration level differently, so I collected scientific data (acceleration values) to
show the seriousness of the vibration objectively:
acceleration values at 600 RPM became FIVE TIMES LARGER than those at 700 RPM!

Honda at least acknowledged the vibration issue on their most important model CR-V (2015/16) with the same 2.4L engine, but they refuse to deal with the issue on less lucrative models like TLX.
What I ask Honda/Acura is quite simple: if they cannot provide a good solution to this issue, please set the minimum RPM to 700 RPM. That is all I ask.
