This car keeps giving me new problems.... now there is an annoying dying fan noise constantly coming out... also started making a puttering noise while idle or parked. My $40k is going to Nissan next time. And if you're going to buy this car, do make sure EVERYTIME you do an oil change that your oil meter is reset properly... it's supposed to be electronic but it is not.... it has to be manually reset each time you do an oil change. Mechanic at Mr Lube didn't bother resetting mine so guess what... I was running at 5% engine oil while the dashboard said 30%... actually I've driven 500 city km since the oil change and it still says 100% oil left....

Update from Mar 7, 2010: I'm a new car owner and over reacted to this. The noises are normal and only come out when the car is idle. The oil change issue is not clear -- it is the fault of the mechanic not a problem in the car. Lastly the oil change not updating is normal. If you have had a car for sometime you know it makes no sense to expect the meter to go down after only 500km. It goes down in bunches like after 1000km+ it went down by 10%. So most of this is just a new car owner freaking out. The only thing I can really nitpick on is the noise... I do find it annoying but then again it is winter and it might be a minor issue. I don't have any real complaints with this car so far. It has been checked by two Acura mechanics and an independent mechanic and neither found any problems with it so far.
