The auto start stop feature on the 2017 Audi A4 will not work with the cars circulation system (A.C. or heat) turned on. My dealer says the feature is working correctly and all 2017 A4's work the same way. I asked the dealer to prove to me all 2017 A4's worked this way. We went for a ride in a 2017 A4 on their lot and it did the same thing. Audi's A5, Q7 and other models the start stop feature works with the circulation system on. I do not belive this is the way Audi intended for this to work and simply refuses to admit there is a problem. The fact that all 2017 A4's work the same way if really true, says to me that the entire 2017 A4 product has a problem. I live in Metro Atlanta. How many days each year will I be able to ride around with out heat or air.
