Q5 Premium 2.0t

  • Automatic transmission
  • 16,200 miles

Audi has a problem with its brakes on the Q5. Mine started making thudding sound at about 16,000 miles and pedal went soft. After long animated conversation with service manager of the Audi dealership he took it in for overnight review/repairs. Claimed to have cleaned brakes but problem persists. Seems Audi is having a problem with premature/excessive wear on its brake pads and has decided to do nothing about it. Am taking it for brake pad replacement this weekend. Sad way for Audi to treat clients who pay $45K for this vehicle.
