The car constantly needs to get oil. It is unreal that I went for a top off and the next day the oil light is on. The car has always been serviced by the dealer's service center, however no sense is made about this problem. The tail pipes show black that gives proof of oil burning no signs of oil leakage over the hood. I think this is a hazard that could only be after the damage is done. I have had to get oil put into the car thrice within the same week.

I am writing to report a problem with Faulty electronic control monitors (ECM). This is a vehicle safety problem, because if the ECM is faulty, drivers won't know when there is truly a problem. Approximately 2 weeks ago, my vehicle check engine light came on. I don't drive the car that often, so I scheduled an appointment and took a picture. The day of my appointment the light wasn't on. The report number 251149 shows a diagnosis of a faulty ECM. I believe there is a problem with the manufacturing, because my car is a 2015 and report numbers 185124 and 180866 also reflect faulty information and electronic control monitors. This shouldn't happen in a car that is ~6 years old and has only 50,000 miles.

The intake pipe between the intercooler and turbo consists of 2 pieces joined with 2 bolts. I was told by the Audi service tech that both of these bolts backed out and the pipe dislodged mid operation, disrupting air flow. Throttle was suddenly completely unresponsive and I was forced to coast to the shoulder of the highway with no throttle control. Link to video sent by service tech: https://app.quik.auto/j/356eeb5b

Per Audi dealership and fidelity warranty, cleaning of the secondary air ports are not considered essential enough to be covered by the extended warranty. I was given the reasoning that cleaning is not considered a failure of parts; and therefore, does not meet warranty coverage requirements, although it does illuminate the check engine light and is deemed critical by the Audi technician.

5 times in the last 6 months the "glow plug" indicator light has come on and the vehicle experienced a loss of power. Twice the car completely broke down, twice Audi could not replicate the error code, the last time this happened I had just picked up the car from Audi after it was repaired. The glow plug light came on and it went into "limp mode" where I experienced a loss of power as I was getting on the freeway, almost got hit as I couldn't accelerate past 35 mph.

My vehicle completely shut down while I was driving it 60 mph behind a semi truck and between two cement barriers. I have it on video, it is one of my problems I had with my car to say the least. It happened once more while I was not moving, had it in the Audi dealer for the second time. After I brought it home, it wouldn't shut down. I also have that on video. The videos are too large to upload, but everyone that drives an Audi should see these. I am glad I am alive to tell my story.

After buying my new 2015 Audi Q7 on 9/27/14, I started experiencing hesitations when pulling out into traffic from dead stops. The very first time it happened I was in the median of a 4-lane highway waiting to turn left into traffic. I pressed the accelerator it started into the lane of traffic then stopped. I sat there for about 2-3 seconds before it took off. I expected to get hit. It wasn't the gas nor me. I have been driving for 38 years and driven over 20 vehicles and have never experienced this before. It continues to happen randomly and always unexpectedly sometimes 1 time a week sometimes 3 times a week. The hesitation is as much as 3-4 seconds. On 4/18/15 I brought it in to Audi of new orleans. They called stating that they could not duplicate the problem and to come pick it up. I picked it up right at closing. Upon leaving the dealership, I stopped to wait for traffic, proceeded to make my right turn, and it happened. On 5/25/15 I brought it to Audi of baton rouge, which is where I bought it. They called me on 5/29/15 and told me: That they could not duplicate what I was experiencing; that the technician knew what I was talking about, but that is just the way the Q7S are; and that the technician wanted to ride around with me when I come to pick it up. That afternoon and I drove around with the technician first in another Q7 then in my Q7. I could not reproduce it with either car. However, the technician did tell me that he knew what I was experiencing and that that is just how the Q7S are and that the reason is because when I press the accelerator the computer takes control and decides if it will give me the power I need to proceed. I believe that no car should hesitate and put people in jeopardy by not giving the engine the gas it needs to perform as it should. I also feel that Audi should make all drivers and future drivers of Q7S aware of its behavior....updated 10/01/15 updated 12/05/2017
