I noticed that the paint on the front bumper and on the two front fenders began peeling bit by bit. At first I thought it came from rock chips but slowly but surely the paint started coming off very significantly. I went to my Audi dealer in Parsippany, NJ and was told I had to go to the dealer where I purchased the car. So I went to the dealer in Secaucus, NJ. The car was a CPO vehicle at this dealership (owned by a different dealership owner at the time I bought the car). After verifying that no front end damage or repairs were in the car's history, I basically asked them what can be done for me because it was of no fault on my own why this car's paint is peeling. I have always kept the car immaculately clean in and out every time. And really, there is absolutely no reason why paint should just peel off on it's own. My issue was escalated to Audi of America. Some time later, I get an email from Audi of America which basically put the case to rest. They cannot help me. They said the problem is not covered by any existing warranty they have. They had no explanation as to why the paint was peeling nor did they offer any solutions that they can offer on their part. So now, I drive around with the paint mostly peeled off from it's front end, annoying as it is. Moreover, it's a big problem in the winter time when the roads are salted. Rust has developed on some of the exposed metal on the fenders. The only solution is to have it painted myself which probably costs more than the car is worth today.
