TT 1.8L

  • Manual transmission
  • 36,000 miles

Bought the car new in 2001, shortly after 5 k miles the air bag light came on. brought it to the dealer they indicated it was the cluster. Had the cluster replaced under warranty. Shortly after the airbag lite came on again, was told it was the cluster again. It was now out of warranty , did not get it replaced. Heard of the cluster recall a few years ago had it replaced again. Shortly after came on again, was told it was the air bag module, spent $1500 had it replaced. Shortly after seatbelt light would not operate as it should, was told it was cluster. Granted the car is 12 years old , but it only just reached 35,000 miles always garaged never in rain or snow. This car has had more troubles than all the main cars I have owned. Audi does not think this is not normal to have these problems. You can obviously see how they rate quality.

sure is a Cluster Fu*k

I think they replace the cluster with left over defective inventory
