325 XI 2.5L I6

  • Automatic transmission

Just got the damn car and it starts misfiring and shaking uncontrollably like its gonna explode. Not sure what it is but then learn its just ignition coils. Happened three more times until I replaced all the coils, then happened another time, and usually two coils at a time blow out. Should be covered as a recall. This damn car will break your wallet and have you trying to restore every part. Never buying a BMW again. Biggest piece of sh*t I've ever owned. Even Audi has better quality on VW models.

if you are thinking of buying a used BMW out of warranty you better be rich and ready to spend double what you pay for it. The engines are over engineered to the point of uselessness. They are so sensitive that any little issue will throw the check engine light on and if you don't take it in for repairs immediately you are in for a very long list of repairs.
