Car was taken to dealer for repair of abs, brake system and right headlight. The headlight issue was fixed under warranty after the third complaint. BMW sent an Engineer to determine cause of fire but no report has been issue and Dealer is denying responsibility. I have been a loyal consumer of BMW with 6 cars already bought to them. Dealer quote repair at $25,300 and insurance declared a total loss. This seems to be a repetitive incident on these cars and BMW has done nothing to protect consumers of this unsafe cars. Fortunately I and a fellow co-worker who was traveling with me were able to step out of the car, otherwise we would have been harmed. BMW organization is not reliable and has no concern to consumer once they sell you the car. Although I did enjoy and liked the brand I think I will swich to AUDI.
