The Final Stage Resistor will have no problem varying the airflow in your car, but the problem is that it does it even when it's not supposed to. This started when I first noticed after shutting off the car that the fan kept running. Well , you guessed it this eventually killed the battery on several occasions ( most opportune) Airport parking lot at 10Pm at night after an international flight. Lots of trouble, with boosts . I finally replaced the battery ( $130).

Well After killing a new battery in 30 days I began putting two and two together and realized the resistor was killing the battery. Faulty parts and a very common problem but BMW did not do a recall. Instead they like to piss their customers off no brand loyalty to BMW after this one.

This car so far has been one problem after another!
