The contact owns a 2006 BMW 760I. The contact stated while driving approximately 5 mph, the front driver's side door unexpectedly unlatched. The vehicle was equipped with the comfort access and soft close automatic options. The door would only remain closed while holding with your hand while driving. There was a recall under NHTSA campaign id number 12V504000 (latches/locks/linkages) but the VIN was not included. The vehicle was currently being diagnosed by an independent mechanic.
