X3 I Sport 3.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 134,555 miles

Transmission failure ranks at the very top of most expensive repairs to have done on any automobile. BMW X3's should and could be built strong enough to last over 130k miles EVEN IF TREATED HARSHLY! This one was NOT treated harshly and was serviced regularly yet failed anyway. A little online research showed many others with the same vehicle also replacing transmissions. The X3 will be Permanent addition to my DO NOT BUY LIST! Right next to the Ford Taurus. Let the Monster trucks have them.
