Two years ago I complained that the vehicle jerked on pull off and when it comes to a standstill. After reporting it to the BMW repair center, it did improve slightly but still not as smooth as when the vehicle was new. Later the 4 X 4 engaged light started appearing. I would switch the vehicle off and restart, the light would switch off until eventually every second day the light would come on. The concern was reported at various times to BMW repair center and they could not find the fault on the vehicle until the light came on and I drove vehicle it in that condition down to the repair center to prove that I am concerned with my vehicle, the vehicle was left at the repair center.

Later in the morning I received a call to say that a sensor needed to be replaced at cost, I was upset with the call. I feel that BMW does not have trained personnel to investigate faults rather, lets the customer pay for replacing what could be the problem. This is an expensive vehicle that you would expect to have long time of driving, cost free ( not including the normal services), it looks like the vehicle will only last the warranty time, then the problem is yours.
