CAR HAD THE ENGINE/EMISSION LIGHT ON. TOOK IT TO THE BMW OF BRIDGEWATER NJ DEALER AND THEY CHARGED ME $1000 TO FIX. CALLED MAIN OFFICE IN CALIFORNIA TO LET THEM KNOW THE SCR COMPONENTS ARE COVERED IN PAGE 3 OF the WARRANTY DOCUMENT AND EMAILED the DEALER THE WARRANTY DOCUMENT. THEY CAME BACK AND SAID THE SCR METER VALVE WAS NOT COVERED EVEN THOUGH THE SCR Catalyst, SCR Filler Tube, SCR Pump Unit AND SCR Reagent Reservoir ARE COVERED. I am not sure what they call SCR METER VALVE but they stick to that and had me pay $1000
This car has 4 years and cannot pass inspection. And I have to pay for that. No other car or make that i know of would have this break within 4 years. What is BMW doing?
