Drive shaft broke while coming up a hill, they took 3 weeks to repair this, got a tow truck to deliver to our BMW X6 Diesel to the dealer, two weeks later while passing a truck. there was a loud explosion from the engine with a lot of smoke, then the vehicle went into fail safe mode. when i did stop, vehicle could not drive again...called a tow truck to take it back to the dealers they took approx 45 days to replace the turbo charge unit. when i got back the vehicle, the emission was very high. then they took it back to replace the catalytic convertor, next they gave me back in two weeks...then the vehicle had a lag and seemed to stall before it drove off, now they are saying that the transfer case is bad...it is still at the dealer for the last 2 months. I want BMW to give me a new vehicle because this vehicle is still under warranty...over to you BMW, do you think that I should be given a new! vehicle. This vehicle is a lemon....there are other problems such as ...sometimes this vehicle locks me inside and only when I remove the keys the door would open. also, both daylight running lights stopped working within 1 year of purchase.
