Shut car off in garage. Come out later to find coolant all over floor. Another known issue GM chooses to hide. Called dealer, they tell me yes, it can be repaired under special extended warranty because it's a known issue. Made no offer to get vehicle to shop though. That was on me. Thanks for nothing GM

water pump ruptured lost all coolant
Happened on Main St of Gatlingburg TN on a Saturday. Blew up smoke (steam) everywhere. Nearest dealership 35 miles away. Rollback had to take us all to Seymore TN to have it replaced. Spent afternoon there.

Engine light and overheating in a downpour, this was not fun. They replaced the waterpump cause it was under warranty and a known issue, but why charge me for a cooling system flush?
