passenger airbag sensor not working with wife in seat

Made appointment with Buick dealership to check problem with passenger airbag light showing off while wife is in the seat. Service tech said no problem, the sensor can be adjusted all the way down to 85 lbs. My wife weights 110 lbs. They said they had fixed it, but on the way home it quit working. After five (5) return visits to dealership, they now say the airbag only activates at 125 lbs. even though the head mechanic using his computer plugged into car, showed the passenger seat senor saying the seat was occupied but the airbag disabled. Talked to service manager about problem, she said Buick engineers stated that's the way it should be and there's nothing going to be done about it. I think it's odd that every other car my wife rides in, the sensor works

Update from Nov 13, 2016: After eleven months and seven trips to the dealership to fix airbag sensor they (Buick/GMC in Detroit) finally said to "sell the car and buy a new one". So I quest we'll go through BBB arbitration.
