Im a HHA home health aid. I was leaving work going hom addede till my next shift. Got 1/4 way home and I saw smoke and my SUV was not shifting right. I pulled over opened hood checked oil was fine. Smoke stopped so I was able to continue toward home about 2 miles down the road it started again smoking not speeding up. I called my son he came to help me to find my transmission line had blow off and I lost my fluid. He hooked line up, added transmission fluid and we started back home to get a few miles down the road and the line blow off again. He had to tow me to were he could get under it better and rehook it. He said it had a rubber line on it and it should have had a metal line. Now my transmission is fried. Im makeing payments on a suv I cant drive. Im not rich HHAs dont get paid like nurses. Were the ones that do the jobs nurses dont and were in the clients homes. I cant aford a new transmittion. I was told new would be $3000. My loan was little more then that and Im still having to pay on my loan. Please can you help!!!
