What is supposed to be fantastic (according to Buick) works so badly that I gave up and used my phone.

It takes a minimum of 30 seconds with Buicks voice control, on the best of days, to get a destination set, and on the worst, as I said, I just use my phone, because it works.

It seems GM's solution is "just use OnStar", well I paid for a vehicle that has navigation built in without the need to use an additional "gotta pay for it" service.

In addition, there is no simple Home button to navigate you out of wherever you are. If you are like me and go to a variety of destination, when It's time to head back, it is very convenient to just hit the home button quickly and that will get you back to a major freeway or someplace you are familiar with.

Also, in order to receive traffic information you will need another "gotta pay for it" service which is XM radio. Personally, I think XM sucks, I have never liked it, but aside from that, if I'd known that I had to have the service for traffic data to be displayed on my navigation screen, I wouldn't have purchased the car, period.
