Rendezvous CXL 3.4L

I been swirling between Mechanics to diagnose and fix the issues with the speed sensor locate in the transmission. They all asking for a massive amount of money to fix it, because they claim it can take hours for the to find where exactly the wiring are damaged that goes to the pcm.The code showing in the scanner is p0502. The Redezvous is the worst ever vehicle you can have.

Dash lights lit up, bells, battery light on/off until car stalled. Mechanic said alternator and battery. Did it again next day so far 800$ still not fixed. 2 alternators, 2 batteries, also said it was a short that was fixed. not done, should I try new mechanic or sell it for parts? also gas gauge does not work, smell of gas with heat on. I bought it used with 150000 miles and put 7500 miles on it. I'm on disability sick from working WTC ground zero. I can't afford this. never buy a rendezvous. I have heard all bad, not good, about this car.

Rendezvous ES V6

I bought this lemon 6 months ago and it has given me nothing but problems. The first week I received it, my car died in the middle of the road, the next day I had the battery replaced. The next week I was at a store and when I entered my car, it would not start. I had to call a repair shop to have it towed and repaired. They said my fuel pump needed to be replaced, $700. Two months ago my AC stopped working, only blows hot air. Still have not repaired that problem.

Now my car goes haywire when I drive it where everything goes off and on, my door locks, my windows stops working, my radio shuts off, and my battery light comes on. I took it to a shop and they said it was something with the power, paid $325. After 2 weeks, my car is doing it again. I am afraid to even drive my car because I know it will just shut down on me or will lock up on me or leave me completely stranded. This car is unsafe to drive and being a single Mom of a baby, scares me so much.

I think GM/Buick needs to take responsibility and call this a recall since it is happening to 100's of people. Why should we continue to throw money into a car that is faulty do to their error in building them. This is why American cars get a bad name. Please help!

Rendezvous CLX 3.1L

The security light came on, radio wouldn't work, lights wouldn't shut off, or the lights and radio stayed on. The positive cable had to be disconnected and rebooted. I finally replaced the BCM. There has been similar problems and than the drivetrain. The windows all wouldn't work. It was put together with plastic parts. The rear window wiper wouldn't shut off and finally fried itself. Never worked again! I would never own another one. The loaner I used also had a problem with its AWD light shutting off.

There should have been a recall on this car but Buick is too cheap. I have a friend that replaced all his wiring in his Rendezvous. Good Luck Rendezvous owners!!!!
