problem #1

Catera Sedan 3.2lV6

I woke up after a horrible rain storm to find my passenger side floor board front and back seat totally soaked with water, in fact, the back had at least a ft of water in it. We had to take a wet vac and soak the water up then lay about eight towels on the floorboard to mop it up more. We looked under the hood and found a compartment close to the windshield on the passenger side that was full of water just sitting in it. We took the vac and started sucking the water out of it to find that it was totally clogged up with leaves and muck, which was not allowing the water to properly drain outside of the car, instead it was filling up inside. This was an awful experience. I am happy that all my electical mechanisms were not totally ruined. Hopefully we fixed the problem ourselves, if not it will probably cost us a fortune to take it somewhere, especially the Cadillac dealer since the car is not under warranty.
