I was notified by Cadillac on 10/20/07 via a safety recall notice that the fuel line needed to be inspected and possibly replaced because it could crack and cause a dangerous problem and it would be repaired at no charge. When i went to the dealer to have it done i was told that this could possibly damage the fuel pump and i would have to pay for the repair on the fuel pump. I called Cadillac and was told that they would replace the fuel line but not the fuel pump. What a rip off, i didn't cause this problem and don't feel i should have to pay for a problem that was Cadillacs in the first place. Anyway thanks for listening, i guess it's time to buy a Honda. Over the years I have owned 8 or 9 caddys, but no more.
