XT5 V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 21,000 miles

Service StabiliTrak warning light turned on while driving. Not only does this mean the stability control system isn't working but the speed of the vehicle was reduced to 10 mph very quickly with no control over it. It happened while traveling along a road that happened to have a wide shoulder to pull over onto. If this incident would have happened on the interstate highway, this could have very well ended up in an accident since there was no control over the fast reducing speed of the vehicle. Along with and outside this incident, here has been notice of a jerky transmission.

XT5 Premium Luxury 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission

this light as well as the park assist is off and steering assist is reduced, message says "drive with care". This is not the first time it has happened and the dealer cannot seem to duplicate it when it is for service. Today they told me they are putting some kind of park assist part on and "hopes" that solves the problem otherwise I was told to drive it to failure.
