Since the car had no CD I burned a flash drive with music. According to the owners manual, many formats were supported. When the flash drive would not work in the Cadillac it was tested in two other vehicles.....which both played the drive with no problem. Long story short......Cadillac changed the radio and I had to provide the VIN number to Cadillac and they advised that on my radio, only the MP3 format was supported. Since the dealer did not know this and had to check with Cadillac I assume this was a recent change.

During the initial break -in the radio started to fade totally out. Then I noticed mass static randomly. Took it to Cadillac and was told to change the FM station. Did that.......same issues. Took it back and was asked to try AM. OK what the heck, a radio that only plays one frequency? Bottom line.......my car shows no code failures so they won't do anything. What the heck, how long have radios been in cars and not getting constant service is an issue that is very annoying. Buy American.....ha ha ha ha
