Complete failure of interior lights. This also affected the right rear driving light. It only comes on when brakes are applied. This is the 2nd complaint I have filed for this vehicle/lemon.

Car type: 2005 Chevy Aveo problems I have had with this car; 1. oxygen sensor needed replacement by 41, xxx miles 2. at 82, xxx mi. Wiring problems in fuse box wires came loose (possibly a fire hazard) burnt the wiring harness. (char marks on the wiring harness) caused the interior (instrument cluster panel) and exterior lights (daytime running lights)(yellow lowbeams that control turn signal) to turn off while driving the vehicle during the night time. Fix cost me $125 plus tax 8.25% this isn't the first time I've heard of this happening in fact its on many online forums as happening to several other people. 3. at 92, xxx miles. Thermostat housing cracked in the center where the thermostat is located at (thermostat housing is plastic) very cheaply made. No parts houses carry this item. Its a GM part. Got stranded 44 miles from home and had to get a tow truck to bring car home. Cost; $115 + tax corrections made to vehicle; 1. purchased a new oxygen sensor for about $120 2. taken electrical problem to a shop and had the shop fix it for $125 +tax 3. problem still pending. Parts not available at part houses I.e. autozone O'reileys A-line, advanced auto, etc....I believe parts houses do not wish to carry these parts. Part is too cheaply made for them to carry I believe the part should have been made out of metal.(steel, aluminum. Etc....) property damage: Damage to wiring harness in vehicle Chevy Aveo fire: Burnt wiring harness in vehicle, wires had to be soldered from a separate locality in engine compartment.
