Aveo 6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

I went to put my key in driver door and the lock barrel pushed in and fell inside the door. I had to get an autobody shop to get it and fix it. I couldn't lock my doors until I had it fixed.

well when i closed my door one day i heard a funny noise but didnt notice that the key lock fell in untill i got to school and was going to lock my door and there was no lock there...they were trying to charge me 100 dollars to fix it when it is not my fault they made a defaulty product and they dont want to take responsibility...they should recall so many things but they would rather put their customers in danger...

Aveo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

The lock fell in the door while I was driving and the dealership tried to say that it happened when somebody tried to break into the car. They said they would fix it no problem but renigged and left me with a $450 bill only two days after I bought the car used. The warranty was already expired and the extended warranty coverage, which I had purchased, would cost $250 out of pocket.
