noticed a rotten smell in car after it sits for a while. turned out to be the rubber elbow at the rear of the car on the hose that supplies washer fluid to the rear window, under the carpet, was disconnected and soaking the carpet pad with washer fluid. noticed washer fluid dripping from rear of car when parked on a steep uphill incline one day. had to completely remove interior, remove carpet and pad, hang on fence for two days and then reassemble the entire interior!!!! turned out to be rotten and moldy carpet pad. my son was filling the washer fluid container periodically, and the fluid was siphoning out under the carpet.

Not really an issue, just a product of time and mileage. Just put on some hose clamps. The hose is generally located under the carpet, which comes out after removing the 4 cargo hooks. The bit is called Torx, find it at AutoZone and stop complaining.
