WAS DRIVING MY DAUGHTER TO HER APPOINTMENT AND THE SWING ARM BALL JOINT SNAPPED. NOW I HAVE TO GET A NEW CAR AND THINK THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE A RECALL PROBLEM THAT WAS NOT FIXED WHEN THEY WERE RECALLED. SO I BELIEVE THAT CHEVY AND GM OWE ME A NEW CAR.

This is ridiculous for a 4 year old car with only 31K miles on it. The service guy at the Chevy dealership said that in manufacturing the car, they used poor quality parts, and he sees this often. Never took the car off-roading or anything either.

as reported in other area of this site, wheel nearly fell off the car on the way home from Chicago - of course temp was -30 degrees in February! vehicle was in shop so many times during warranty for making a noise - ball joint replacement. guess this time it was post warranty and i am lucky i was not in an accident.
