While driving consumer heard a loud squeaking noise coming from the vehicle. Consumer drove the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that both brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced due to worn out parts.

The ocean salt ate the rotors. When this occurred the brakes and the pads were damaged. Manufacturer was providing no assistance although they were aware of the problem. GM dealership wanted $1350 to replace brake pads and rotors.
