The first time my drivers seat belt did not retract and hold me was on Sept 5, 2000. I notified king Chevrolet. I have had my car in the shop several time more over the past 13 1/2 months. They keep telling me that the part is on back order. I have stressed to them that this is a safety issue. I have had to put on my brakes a few times suddenly. Each time, it did not hold me and I jerked my neck. The first time, I hit the side of my driver's window so hard I had an egg knot and had to go to the er. I have given them 14 months (next week) to fix this. All they tell me is that they will call me when it's in. This is a safety feature that I feel should be looked into as someone else may not be so lucky. June hatfield.
