Cavalier 2.2L V6

I have a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier. It is leaking oil around the spark plug area in the front where you can see it. When you turn the car on it spits oil and then starts leaking. I think it may be that I need a head gasket kit. Please help. No leakage on ground. Oil light only comes on when I brake.

Cavalier 2.2L 4 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 150,750 miles

well i just bought a 2000 4 door 2.2 5sp cavalier, the people i bought it from said they had fixed everything on it. What i found, to me is pretty sad ive had it for two weeks and the o2 sensor had to be replaced at around 50 dollars ya ok i can deal with that but shortly after the check engine light mysteriously reappears and if thats the case i dont even want to know what wrong with it now but it starts to get a little jerky when i take my foot of the gas almost as if a cylinder head had blown but if that had happened their would be smoke alot of smoke so maybe its the transmission but i think it might have happened when i got on the gas after some dumb over cautious pansy got in front of me and drove slower than a one legged turtle that was high so i got a little pissy because i was going to meet a freind to play golf so i put my foot down on the gas and turned onto a different street to try and get ahead of dumb ass and i didnt shft until engine was probably redlining and i thing i fried something and im not sure what i did but im not graduated and only have a full time job for the summer so i really dont have money for costly repairs so im a little worried. the car seems to make a real rough noise when i turn and now i think i have a problem with the steering so i recommend not to drive it like micheal schumacher without giving it the right upgrades other wise the engine and rest of the car just cant handle that much ware and tear. but other than the steering and continuous engine check light this car is ok.

Cavalier Coupe 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission

I bought the car in July, and about a month after my check engine light, service light, and oil light all came on. I bought the car, and then a month later I had to put around $500 into it, and now they think I need O2 sensors!! I will never buy another Cavalier again, cant wait to get rid of this one...
