Cavalier Ls Sport 2.2L

  • Manual transmission
  • 180,000 miles

2002 cavalier is sport 5 speed, so I noticed the cv axle going bad on my way to work, well the next day it was clunking really bad and as I put it into 5th gear. I hit the gas and nothing happened so since I figured it was the cv axle since it was on the passenger side I replaced it. I just finished up and started my car and went to back it out of my garage, nothing happened but I can hear something in the transmission if I leave it in gear, any ideas?

This car is a peice of sh*t. Transmission went out 1000 k after the warranty ran out . chevy would give nothing towards repair or the Dealer Pike Wheaton in Red Deer Alberta Canada would not help out either unless we paid to have them take it apart and see if they could find a problem they could get under warranty. If they could not find anything we would then have to pay the full price of the repair which was 2 times the cost as the same job at a local transmission shop . I went to the tranny shop and had the work done and have not had any problem with the trans.

So to make a long story short don't Deal with Pike wheaton in Red Deer Alberta Canada . PS I Will never own a GM product again . This is just one of the many problems I have had with this GM JUNK.
