I went to the Chevy dealer and he laughed at me when I asked if this was a common problem with these cars. I had looked online and seen that that 2006 was recalled for this issue in some areas. I did some searching and found out that the 2005 uses the same part as the 2006.

This was very frustrating being that we are talking gasoline leaking near the drivers door right next to the exhaust pipe. I have had nothing but problems with this car. It is my daughter's car and because of all the issues she swears she will never buy another Chevrolet.
