At random intervals, I would put the car in park after driving and I couldn't get my key out of the ignition. Finally took it to the dealer and they replaced the shifter cable and knob under an extended warranty.

iT'S uder recall I ignition recall parts changed 09/08/2017.The new key locks in ignition just like the old one. taking car back to a G M dealer 08/13/2017.
