2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. Consumer writes in regards to recommending a recall concerning seat belt stops the consumer stated the seat belt stops failed twice. When they broke, the seat buckle dropped on the strap below the seat between the rocker panel, which made it nearly impossible to retrieve the buckle. The consumer stated the part was an inexpensive two-part button that went through the strap which stopped the bucket from sliding down on the belt. The dealer replaced the driver's seat belt stop. The consumer stated the rear brakes did not adjust. The dealer indicated the rear brakes need to be adjusted. The dealer indicated, he would have to pay to have them adjusted. However, it appeared the dealer acknowledged that the rear brakes were suppose to automatically adjust, upon backing up. The consumer also stated one day while driving, he heard a loud sound. Soon after, about 1/2 gallon of water spilled onto the passenger floor and then continued to drip down the blower motor/ the dealer stated the ac drain evaporator box filled up from the outside drain. The dealership did not nothing to clear off the cowl area and they did not attempt to vacuum up the water. Updated 08/20/12
