The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado. While operating the vehicle, the truck bed made contact with the rear of the cabin. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the subframe was severely rusted. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 118,000.

The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado. While driving, the contact heard an abnormal noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. The contact noticed that the front passenger side wheel was tilted. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the frame was rusted and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 204,000.
