Colorado 5-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles
I had new tires installed on my truck. The original tires seemed to wear unevenly on the inside tread. I had my alignment checked and it was good. I have my tires rotated every 6000 miles. The technician that inspected my vehicle said that the tie rods were worn out. He said that was the third Colorado that he had seen in the last week with worn tie rods. He said that this seemed unusual to him that they would wear so fast. I have been contemplating whether to pay for the repair or see if a recall is issued on this vehicle. Tie rods should not wear out at 40000 miles.
