This is the second time for the same issue in my first complaint, dome and cargo lights come on whenever, door ajar warning message and chime, alarm goes off whenever it wants and cannot switch from odometer to trip odometer. This obviously didn't get fixed then and now I had to bring it again while I was still visiting my parents in MO.

So on 1-13-14 i bring it back in to Lou Fusz Chevrolet with the same issues as on 12-06-13. Unfortunately before the day of the appointment the issues had stopped. Obviously this turning out to be a dreaded intermittent electrical nightmare. So they had from 1-13-14 to 1-20-14 and they say could not duplicate this condition, so they called GM Technical Assistance for advise and were advised to make no repairs. So they said that was all they could do for me. So now the first time I brought it in they saw the problem, and the second time it wasn't doing it for them, and they said they couldn't find anything wrong.

So fast forward, I am now back in NY State and I know this isn't fixed so keep watching for my next complaint on this same issue.

Well, here I am with same problem as the last two complaints I put on this site previous. So check my two other complaints, this is still the same issue. On 2-19-14 at around 6:45PM I'm sitting at home when I here an alarm going off, I look outside and see my lights flashing. I go outside and hear the alarm going off. I turn off the alarm, I then start it up and sure enough the door ajar warning message appears with the chime, the dome and cargo lights are on and can't switch from odometer to trip odometer. So I hurry up to the local Chevrolet dealership (Reymore Chevrolet) and I hurry inside hoping someone is still there so they see with their own eyes what this truck is doing. I got lucky there was a service writer still there closing up.

I tell him why I'm there and ask if he would look at it so when I bring it in (in case it isn't doing it) he will be able to document the problem. He sees the problem and proceeds to tell me I have an electrical issue. I tell him about the two times i have already brought it in while in MO., and he says that his master service tech about a month ago and he didn't feel the dealership had a qualified enough tech for this problem. So he suggested I trade it in and let a dealer deal with this problem. I told him I couldn't sell or trade it in to anyone unless i told them the problem and then I would get killed on the price, and besides, I wouldn't spend more money out of pocket and buy a new GM product because you can't even fix the one I already have. So than he suggest i bring it to a different dealership (East Syracuse Chevrolet) because they were much bigger and better equipped to fix this kind of an issue. To be continued........

OK, please read previous three posts about the same problem I am still dealing with. So I bring it down to East Syracuse Chevrolet as suggested by the service writer from Reymore Chevrolet the next day 2-20-14. I can only make an appointment at this time, so I go out to my truck to leave and as I get to the truck I notice the lights are on in the truck. I start it up and there's the door ajar warning message and chime, can't switch the odometer to trip odometer you get the point. I pull in front of the service garage and go in and ask the service writer if he would look at the problems first hand and document what he sees. Well, he is not interested and says they will see it on Tuesday 2-25-14 for the appointment, before I can say anything he points out the service manager standing looking out the window, and tells me to show him. I get the service manager to go out and he gets in the truck and looks at the problems for a few minutes. I tell him the whole story about what I have been going through and how long, he than gets out, goes inside the dealership, comes back out with a tech.

Alright now were going to see some action right, wrong again, the tech checks the truck out (just looking at it no scan tools or tools of any kind) while I tell him what has been going on. I thought they may bring it in now and let the tech go to work on it, but the service manager says OK we see what it is doing and will fix it on Tuesday on the appointment. I then suggest to the service manager now would be a great time to look at it because this problem is intermittent and may not be doing it on Tuesday. But that wasn't going to happen so home I went till the following Tuesday. To be continued........
