The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette. While driving approximately 30 mph, the programming that controlled the heating independently functioned and would not allow the occupant to manually operate it. When the switch that controlled the roof was pressed, the manual control feature returned; however, the heating element functioned at approximately 151 degrees independently. The contact stated that the programming that controlled the switch used for the roof independently controlled the heating elements. The contact stated that the verbiage in the owner's manual did not indicate that in the climate control setting section. The failure recurred constantly. The vehicle was taken to charles auto family in garrettsville, oh, 330-577-5089, where it was stated that the failure was an unknown issue. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vehicle operated as designed. The contact was informed that there was no plan to remedy the failure or update the owner's manual. The failure mileage was approximately 100.

The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette. While driving approximately 30 mph, the switch that controlled the convertible top did more than make the top go up or down. The computer also turned the heater on or off at random, even when the vehicle was parked and turned off, without warning. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (charles auto family, garrettsville, oh, 330-577-5089) and informed the contact that it was an unknown issue. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vehicle operated as designed. The failure was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100.
