Cruze ECO 1.4L

So i bought the car not too long ago, about 2 weeks ago from writing this complaint, the first problems i got with the car was loose plastic plugs falling from over my feet and onto them, the dealer replaced the plastic plugs, i have had squeaks from the dashboard which have been driving me nuts, as well the dealer tightened some bolts, (or they say they did). I have also had loose trimmings on the roof lining, and the biggest problems were that the car was backfiring in idle, the dealer told me it was because i used too high of an octane but in the manual it states that if car is knocking or backfiring put a higher octane in, the dealer pretty much told me it was nothing, and i also had problems when i shifted from park to drive the car lurches forward almost 3 feet, i almost hit a pole in my basement, so i told them all of this and told me its "normal" operation, so i called General Motors and all they could do was tell me they are only "obligated to fix the problems" and not return or replace a car, but if im getting them fixed why are things getting worse. Most recently i got the car back from dealer and the steering was off center, so i reported this and now they are coming to get car and fix it, all of this has been a huge inconvenience especially on a brand new car, im a student and don't have time or money for this, i thought a new car would stop all of this, clearly not, and i don't know what to do at this point. GM says they will send me a gift card and one free oil change, but that doesn't help, im lost hours of work because of this, i thought gm backed their products, especially the Cruze because its a "World Car" and they want it to perform, guess not, im very irritated.
