Cruze LT 4 cyl Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,200 miles

I bought this car to have somethign reliable that runs. It has not run right basically since I bought it. It feels like it's missing on a cylinder, and it happens no matter what gear or speed. I have taken it back 2 times to the dealership and they say nothing is wrong with it. It's not what I expected from a new car.

Cruze LT 4 cyl Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,348 miles

Visiting Biloxi, MS; without warning the engine began running extremely rough, both service engine lights on, message of "reduced power". No joke there, the car would barely operate in traffic trying to go 40 miles to nearest dealership. The car bucked, ran extremely rough, would barely go up hills, had to be restarted several times. Totally embarrassed in heavy traffic. Preston Hood Chevrolet took to days to replace accelerator pedal.

Cruze LT 4 cyl Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,394 miles

Following repair for first accelerator problem, drove 25 miles and the problem reared it's ugly head again with an exact operation of dual ses lights, rough running engine and severely reduced power. Limped back to Biloxi, MS dealership where repaired earlier. Dealership said they didn't know much about the new Cruze and worked with GM to diagnose problem. After three days, computer module replaced. Car didn't run the same as when new.....imagine that! See next problem...

OK, WE HAVE HAD IT! THIS CRUZE IS A NICE CAR.....TOO DAMNED BAD THAT IT DOESN'T RUN LIKE IT SHOULD!! WE ARE MOST DISAPPOINTED BY THE FACTORY THAT PRODUCED THE DEFECTIVE ELECTRICAL ACCELERATOR & ELECTRONIC MODULE. WE ARE EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTED BY THE DEALERSHIPS AND GM SERVICE EXPERTS THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS WITH THE SYSTEMS INSTALLED. MY WIFE AND I HAVE NEVER OWNED A FOREIGN AUTO...WHAT EVER THAT BUYS. THIS MAY BE THE TREND CHANGER FOR US BECAUSE GM DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT or CAN'T FIX IT OR SIMPLY WON'T FIX THIS CAR. WE CAN'T DEPEND ON THIS CAR OR GM IT SEEMS!! FOUR STRIKES ON THE SAME ISSUE MEANS LEMON LAW TIME AND THERE ARE A BUNCH OF LAWYERS WAITING FOR OUR OK TO PROCEED!
