Cruze LS 1.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 107,000 miles

Just pass the warranty car was not getting any power took it to dealership and the say motor. i have had nothing but trouble with the car since i had bought it in 2014. first thing air condition went out had it fixed under warranty Also had 3 turbo charges put in and then the valve cover gasket had to be replaced, and then the engine and the dealership wants 5000.00 to replace it. I will never buy another Cruze it is not worth the money.

Cruze LS 1.8L

  • Manual transmission
  • 64,000 miles

Of course this happens just past the warranty period. The car has been maintained by Chevy dealerships since Day 1 when I purchased the car. It's always had its oil changed on time and was a pretty reliable car up until now. There were a few small issue earlier in its life but it was all taken car of under warranty/recall. How an engine gets a hole in the piston randomly at 64k miles I have no idea but this really makes me question keeping my Silverado.
