Out of the regular joke of a warranty the extended warranty barely covered this issue. In a Texas summer you need A/C. Well my compressor died when it was over 100 degrees outside.

In fact since it was first replaced though 2019 I have gone through at least three compressors. Each one after the extended warranty ended was a minimum of $350 + labor. If they can't make a compressor that lasts more than a few years then just stop offering A/C because it's a joke. I don't run it excessively or have it on all the time. I roll the windows down and get the hot air out first.

Well if you want to work on it you'll have to remove the filter housing, alternator, and jam your hands past the engine belt. You can try and come up underneath the poorly designed SUV but you can't reach all of the areas you need to in order to remove the stupid compressor so you'll have to take part of the front end off.

You read that right. You nearly have to dismantle the front end in order to reach a compressor. If I get to choke the idiot who did the worst design on an engine compartment I have ever seen I can die a happy woman knowing I did the world a favor.
