Purchased equinox from a GM dealer in Pittsburgh in May 2014 at 88k. Engine failure happened at 94k. Repairs cost well over 2k and now engine makes noise and the front suspension make a rattle. The vehicle is definitely a nightmare. Had the vehicle towed to the dealer where I purchased this vehicle and the dealer refused to own up to the unsafeness of the vehicle.
